These terms cover your use of www.hearn.consulting and any services you engage Hearn Consulting for. By using the site or booking services, you agree to them.
The site and resources
Everything on this site (e.g., playbooks, lesson series, articles, worksheets, the vocabulary study tool) is downloadable and provided for your own educational use. You’re welcome to print it, share the downloads with your student or family, and work through it at your own pace.
You may not:
- Rebrand or resell the materials.
- Post them as your own work on another site.
- Use them in a paid program or course without written permission.
- Remove author attribution or the Hearn Consulting name from them.
If you’re a tutor, teacher, or counselor and you want to use these materials with your students, that’s welcome — email info@hearn.consulting and we’ll work out a simple license that covers both of us.
Coaching & consulting services
When you engage Hearn Consulting for one-on-one coaching, consulting, or district work, we provide a separate engagement agreement that covers scope, timing, payment, cancellation, and confidentiality. Those terms govern that specific work. These website terms cover general use of the site and its downloadable resources.
Payment
Services are invoiced in advance of the first session unless otherwise arranged. We accept payment by credit card (via Stripe), Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Cash. Full payment terms are included in each engagement agreement.
Cancellation & refunds
Session cancellation terms depend on the package and will be stated in your engagement agreement. In general, I ask for 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling. No-shows are billed; genuine emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds for unused sessions are issued prorated at 50% back if you decide coaching isn’t the right fit.
No legal, medical, or financial advice
Nothing on this site or in our coaching is legal, medical, or financial advice. For those, see a licensed professional.

Occasionally we link to third-party sites (Khan Academy, College Board, ETS, etc.). We’re not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Hearn Consulting operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Substantial changes will be announced on the site.
